The world of electric cars is growing fast and competitive, even in the Indian market. With the availability of EVs found from almost all the national manufacturers and the growing demand for them, Tata has announced that they will be launching all-new EV models in the coming months. As we've seen with the Nexon EV, Tata knows what it's doing in the EV market. So what can we expect now? Let's find out.

The Tata Punch is currently one of the best cars under Rs.10 lakh in the market and will be positioned above the Tiago EV. The Punch EV is based on the Alfa platform and will be offered with a more powerful engine. More details on the Punch EV will be shared by Tata and we hope that it will be presented as a powerful, useful, and rich offering to the country.

2. Tata Curvv EV

Tata has already introduced the Tata Curvv EV and it will be launched in India in 2024. The Curvv EV will be based on the same Tata X1 platform that underpins the Tata Nexon. However, the platform will be changed to accommodate the new electric motor and provide a larger footprint. The brand will reveal details of the new Curvv once the production model has entered its testing phase. The Curvv EV will cost around Rs.25-30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

3. Tata Avinya EV

The Tata Avinya EV concept was also presented by the brand earlier and will be based on the brand-new GEN 3 drive. The new platform not only supports more models but also offers a longer wheelbase and more flexibility to accommodate larger batteries and electric motors. The production model is expected to be introduced in the country sometime in 2025 or early 2026.
