Tata Sierra
As we've seen before, Tata has to push back its launch date due to COVID-19 and the Sierra is just one of the cars that have been delayed. First unveiled at the Auto Expo in 2020, the Sierra has generated a lot of hype for being one of the best electric SUVs in the country. However, the launch date has been pushed back for the Sierra, which should also raise our expectations. One of the first things we can expect is that Tata will include an improved version of the Ziptron EV powertrain that is currently used in their EV range.
If so, the Sierra will deliver around 400km on a single charge, something very few electric cars can do today. However, Tata is expected to launch the petrol and diesel variants of the Sierra before the EV model. Some of the features seen in the concept include dual-tone alloy wheels, headlights, and taillights, and will include Tata's IMPACT 2.0 feature which is based on the ALFA-ARC platform for its design and safety features.
