Hey audience… What’s up? Are you one of the millions of people who use Google’s blogging platform to write about your interests, news and stories? If so, congratulations! You have found one of the easiest ways to make money online from home. Whether you’re brand new to blogging or have been writing for years, it can be difficult to figure out exactly what it takes to turn your popular blog into an income-generating business that actually brings in enough money to quit your day job or pay your bills.

1) Sell Your Photos

If you’re really good at taking photos, why not try selling them online? Think stock is one of the most popular photo sites where creative can earn money for their images. By creating a free account, you’ll be able to sell your photos for prices ranging from $1.49 all the way up to $495 (and even more if you’re willing to fork over some of your sales earnings). While it won’t make you rich right away, every little bit helps when it comes to blogging!

2) Use Affiliate Links

Affiliate marketing—in which bloggers get a cut of sales generated by recommendations or advertising on their sites—is an easy way to make money, especially if you have experience with search engine optimization (SEO). Put your knowledge of SEO tactics into practice by finding reliable affiliate products that you know readers will love and adding links from your site(s) back to them. When you add affiliate links, be sure that your content is still driven by high-quality writing and is focused on things like education and entertainment instead. Above all, remember not to sell products indiscriminately! Before linking to an affiliate product from your site, ask yourself whether it fits in with your brand. Your readers will appreciate it if you only recommend products that are relevant.

3) Sell Products You Create

If you're good at making things, don't be afraid to let your product do most of your selling for you. You'll want to create a compelling landing page that showcases what you've created and explains why it's awesome. This method is best suited for producers who make physical products like eBooks, apps, information kits, memberships and workshops. Just make sure you have an easy way for people to pay you; setting up an online payment platform may take some time but will be worth it when sales start pouring in.

4) Write Paid Reviews

There’s no shortage of companies eager to send you products and pay you for your honest opinion. This is one of my favorite side hustles because it allows me to be picky about what I promote and it also lets me test out cool products that I would never buy on my own. To get started, snag some free samples on sites like Want China or even sign up for Marriott Rewards. Then check out other sites like USAT Review Central, Product Testing USA, and Protocol Labs that have paid review opportunities. You may not earn much more than $10 per review but its money you wouldn’t have otherwise made sitting around at home anyway!

5) Become an Influencer

Chances are you’ve heard of social media influencers and how they make money by sharing sponsored content on their pages. If you want to follow in their footsteps, there are several ways to become an influencer yourself. You can apply directly on certain platforms, such as Shout cart or Fame bit, or you can partner with affiliate marketers in your niche who already have established social networks. For example, if you’re interested in fashion, consider partnering with bloggers at Fashionista or Purse buzz who can help connect you with brands that need promotion. You could also attend blogger events and network with other people interested in blogging. If so, check out Tribe Conference and join fellow digital-savvy entrepreneurs at Growth Hackers Europe 2017

6) Do Sponsored Posts/Giveaways

Sponsored posts/giveaways are an excellent way to make money from your personal brand. You're essentially earning cash because you share content about a company, product or service and get paid if someone clicks through from your site and purchases that item. You don't have to tell anyone what you did; many bloggers keep it a secret that they do sponsored posts—but that's on them! Remember, there is nothing wrong with sponsored posts/giveaways if it's done in good faith and not just for quick cash. It can be great practice for something like affiliate marketing down the road when you have more experience under your belt. Have fun with it!

7) Create Niche Websites

There are many ways to monetize your niche website, but one of my favorites is selling advertising. With affiliate marketing, you have other businesses do all of the selling for you; in exchange, they pay you a commission. Advertising is much more direct and cut-and-dry. Essentially, it is a form of sponsorship. You sell display advertising spots on your site for companies that have products or services that align with your target audience. If interested readers click on one of these ads and purchase something, there’s potential for some serious money to be made here! The trick with advertising is getting approved by various ad networks; otherwise, you can try placing advertisements directly on sites yourself if you want more control over where and how often they appear.

8) Write eBooks/Blogs

If you can build up an audience, you may be able to get advertisers on board—but that isn’t easy. You’ll need to either build your own site or use affiliate marketing (see below) to create your own store. Either way, expect that only 0.5% of visitors will make a purchase on sites using embedded affiliate links, and only 1-3% of these (or even less) will actually receive a pay-out for your efforts. This doesn’t include other costs like donations or paid memberships that you may have in order for people to access some of your content - so you could easily end up working for free!

9) Offer Paid Traffic Services

If you’re great at driving traffic, you could turn your skills into an income stream. There are several companies that pay bloggers by how much traffic they drive to their site. Some of these services include: Solo Ad Deals, Click Money, My Blog Guest and Text Link Brokers. You can also create an eBook or video series and sell them directly on your own site. Each type of product takes a different approach, but all require that you engage with your viewers/readers first and ask them questions before promoting anything on them. If people trust you enough, they will most likely be willing to try out whatever it is that you have offered for free.

10) Start a Podcast

For many people, podcasting is an excellent side hustle because it involves starting a relatively low-cost business that can generate passive income on a consistent basis. If you have some expertise or knowledge that others are willing to pay for, you can easily create an online podcast and monetize it with advertising, sponsorships, affiliate marketing, etc. Some noteworthy podcasts include Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income Podcast (Flynn has made millions from his podcasting), The Tim Ferris Show , The Side Hustle Show , So Money Podcast , and Start Up . As with all businesses, success takes hard work so there isn’t a quick way to go about it.
